The Silver Springs Pony Club (SSPC) is based in Millstadt, IL. As a part of the Midwest Region Pony Club and the United States Pony Club  (USPC), our mission is "to develop character, leadership, confidence and a sense of community in youth through a program that teaches the care of horses and ponies, riding and mounted sports."

SSPC is the largest Pony Club in the Midwest region.  Our program stresses individual effort and self-sufficiency, as well as encouraging teamwork among the members. We teach each member the skills to take complete responsibility for their horse's health, training, and care.

The Pony Club provides many learning opportunities to horse lovers between the ages of 6 - 24. It also introduces Pony Club members to a wide variety of disciplines -- Dressage, Cross-Country, Show Jumping and Eventing. 

Silver Springs Pony Club is a registered club of the United States Pony Clubs, Inc., the leading junior equestrian organization in the world. The United States Pony Club, Inc. (USPC) was organized as a nonprofit national youth horsemanship organization in February 1954. The USPC founders were enthusiastic foxhunters who recognized the need for an organization to provide sound instruction for all interested youngsters, especially those who otherwise could not afford expensive lessons.
